1. Lower the Exhaust

Support the exhaust, then remove the two rearmost hanger rods on both sides from their rubber isolators. Lower the exhaust carefully to create working clearance.

2. Prepare the Frame Rails

Remove the stickers covering the three weldnuts on the outside of each frame rail. Clean the threads as needed and test the supplied fasteners before raising the hitch.

3. Position the Hitch

Position the hitch side plates between the exhaust and rear fascia. Rotate the receiver over the exhaust and lift it into alignment with the frame rails.

4. Install Hitch Hardware

Place the driver-side spacer between the hitch and frame with its tang pointing forward. Loosely install the supplied M12 bolts and conical washers, then repeat on the passenger side.

5. Torque and Reassemble

Torque all M12 hardware to 68 ft-lbs using a calibrated torque wrench. Raise the exhaust and reinstall each hanger rod into its rubber isolator, then complete a final clearance check.
