Genesis GV80 (2021–2026) Stealth 7-Way Wiring Installation

Vehicle Coverage: 2021–2026 Genesis GV80
Stealth Receiver: SHR70001
Tow Kit: SHT25057
Output: 7-Way RV Blade with 4-Way Adapter
Installation Time: Up to 4 hours with hitch installation
The SHT25057 tow kit adds safety-chain anchors, the detachable ball mount, a passive trailer-light controller, a 7-way RV blade connector, and a 7-to-4-way adapter to the hidden SHR70001 receiver.
Connector Location: The sealed 7-way receptacle remains mounted outside the vehicle at the hitch for ready access; it is not stored inside the cargo area.
1. Opening the Cargo and Taillight Access Areas
The rear cargo floor, threshold, side panels, taillight trim, and lamps are removed carefully to reach the power, ground, and lighting-signal locations.
2. Mounting the Passive Control Module
The module is secured in a protected location behind the rear cargo-area battery and its output wiring is routed through the body grommet.
3. Connecting Lighting Signals, Power, and Ground
The left-turn, right-turn, marker-light, power, and ground circuits are connected according to the Stealth color chart and verified with a meter.
4. Wiring and Mounting the 7-Way Connector
The output wires are terminated at the 7-way housing in the specified order, then the connector and bracket are secured at the hidden tow assembly.
5. Testing, Reassembly, and Adapter Check
Trailer-light functions and the 7-to-4-way adapter are tested before all cargo trim, lamps, exhaust components, and rear panels are restored.
