The SHR70001 mounts above the muffler and uses a vertical latch block hidden behind the lower fascia. The installation uses factory threaded mounting points, requires no metal drilling or visible trimming, and preserves the GV80's finished appearance when the attachment is removed.

1. Inspecting the Vehicle and Preparing Mounting Points

Rear electronic functions are documented, foam covers are removed from the factory threaded holes, and the mounting points are checked and cleaned.

2. Lowering the Exhaust and Preparing Hidden Clearance

The exhaust bezels and rubber isolators are released while the muffler is supported. A small hidden section of lower fascia is trimmed according to the Stealth template.

3. Raising and Torquing the Hidden Hitch Frame

The hitch is raised over the muffler, aligned with all eight factory threaded holes, and torqued to the Stealth specification.

4. Installing the Vertical Latch Block

The stainless-steel latch block is assembled beneath the vehicle and torqued so the detachable receiver locks securely with no permanent receiver tube showing.

5. Reassembly and Final Operation Check

The exhaust and trim are restored, clearances are checked, and the detachable rack receiver and locking mechanism are tested before delivery.
