Connector Location: This model range uses more than one harness layout. We confirm the exact fitment before installation; depending on the matched kit, the 4-flat is either stored inside the cargo area or routed outside and secured at the hitch.

1. Confirming Exact Fitment

We verify model year, trim, and rear-lamp configuration so the correct vehicle-specific harness is selected. Night trim is excluded from this maintained page.

2. Opening the Rear Lamp Access Areas

The required taillights, cargo trim, or protected rear access panels are removed according to the confirmed harness.

3. Installing the Connectors and Converter

The matching factory-style connectors are seated fully, the converter is mounted in a protected location, and the ground is secured.

4. Routing Power and Trailer Output

The fused battery feed and 4-flat output are routed safely away from exhaust heat, movement, pinch points, and sharp edges.

5. Testing Every Lighting Function

Running lights, brake lights, both turn signals, and ground integrity are tested before all vehicle panels and lamps are restored.
