The hidden hitch replaces the factory rear reinforcement with a vehicle-specific structure behind the bumper. The detachable 2-inch rack receiver locks into the stainless-steel latch block when needed and removes completely when not in use.

1. Protecting the Vehicle and Removing the Fascia

Rear lighting, cameras, sensors, hands-free liftgate operation, and panel alignment are documented before the wheel-well fasteners, lower fascia hardware, trim, and rear bumper cover are carefully removed.

2. Opening the Factory Mounting Area

The factory reinforcement beam is removed to expose the mounting studs. The aluminum heat shield is trimmed and folded only in the concealed areas specified by Stealth; no visible trimming is left after reassembly.

3. Installing the Hidden Hitch Frame

The Stealth frame is mounted at the factory studs and additional supplied mounting points. The latch block is installed and all hardware is torqued to the manufacturer’s specifications.

4. Reassembling and Aligning the Rear Fascia

All sensors and electrical connections are restored before the fascia, trim, wheel-well hardware, and lower fasteners are reinstalled and aligned.

5. Final Receiver and Vehicle Check

The detachable receiver, integral lock, panel fit, rear lights, cameras, parking sensors, and liftgate functions are checked before the vehicle is returned.
