Hyundai Tucson (2025–Present, Excluding N Line Hybrid) Flat-4 Wiring Installation

We confirm the vehicle configuration, access and connect each lighting circuit, establish protected ground and battery power, route the 4-flat to the hitch, test every function, and carefully reassemble the vehicle.

1. Confirming Fitment and Disconnecting Power
The vehicle is confirmed to be a supported 2025–Present Tucson configuration and not an N Line Hybrid. The negative battery terminal is disconnected and isolated before the lighting circuits or dedicated power lead are opened.

2. Removing the Taillights and Opening Rear Access
Both taillights are released carefully and their factory connectors are separated without damaging the locking tabs. Controlled paths are opened from the driver-side taillight area to the rear bumper connections.

3. Connecting the Taillight and Bumper Circuits
The brown-wire harness branch is guided into the driver-side taillight cavity and connected between the factory harness and lamp. The left and right turn-signal branches are connected at the corresponding rear bumper circuits and secured across the vehicle.

4. Securing the Converter, Ground, and Battery Power
The converter is mounted with its sealed side oriented correctly on a protected surface away from wheel spray and road debris. The ground is secured to clean vehicle metal, and the fused 12-gauge power lead is routed safely to the battery away from heat, movement, pinch points, and sharp edges.

5. Routing the 4-Flat, Testing, and Reassembly
The 4-flat is routed to the center of the hitch and all loose wiring is supported securely. Running lights, brake lights, both turn signals, and ground integrity are tested before the battery connection, taillights, bumper-area connections, and other removed components are restored.
