1. Accessing the Rear Chassis
The spare tire is lowered or removed as needed, and the small gravel guard beneath the vehicle is taken off. This exposes the frame rails and the factory mounting area behind the rear bumper.

2. Lowering the Exhaust and Preparing the Mounts
The exhaust is safely supported and temporarily lowered to create working room above it. Factory mounting points are cleaned and inspected so the supplied high-strength hardware can thread into the chassis correctly.

3. Assembling and Positioning the Hitch Frame
The multi-piece Stealth Hitch frame is assembled, lifted beneath the Telluride, and positioned against the structural frame rails. Its concealed placement is what allows the finished system to remain hidden when the receiver is removed.

4. Securing the Frame and Latch Block
The hitch frame is fastened to the chassis and torqued to specification. The latch block and removable receiver system are then installed so the receiver can lock firmly in place for towing or accessories.

5. Restoring Components and Checking the Finished Fit
The exhaust, gravel guard, and spare tire are returned to their original positions. Final fit and receiver operation are checked, leaving the hitch structure concealed behind the bumper when the receiver is not in use.
